Nicole J. Adelman:

Nicole J. Adelman is a professional actor, director, producer, on-air radio personality

and public speaking instructor. Hard to be Human is the brand name of her Public

Speaking enterprise, which includes a downloadable podcast that goes live every

other Wednesday from Studio Savec in Prague. Formerly the co-host and

co-producer of Finding Cupid Radio with David Cruz, which continues to goes live

every Tuesday at 8pm from Sunset Gower Studios, Nicole’s understanding and

passion for the radio medium was inspired and cultivated.

Prior to living in Prague, Nicole lived in Los Angeles where she proudly worked on

the show, “Mad Men”, and enjoyed being in films, commercials, doing extensive

voiceover, print and radio work, and playing on some of LA’s best storefront stages.

Originally from Chicago, she earned high praise from the Chicago Sun-Times for her

roles as Celia in Michael V. Gazzo’s, “A Hatful Of Rain” at Raven Theatre, as well as

for the role of Cat in the Chicago premiere of Sean Graney’s adaptation of Jose

Rivera’s “References To Salvador Dali Make Me Hot” at the Bailiwick Repertory

Theater. In Prague, she has already played on many stages; from Prague

Shakespeare Company and Blood, Love and Rhetoric, to the Prague Fringe, where

she originally brought her collaborator, Peppur Chambers’, extremely successful one

woman show, “Harlem’s Awakening” to international audiences, as well as performed

as “Jayne” in Chambers’, “Dick & Jayne Get A Life”. Together with Chambers, she

started the theater company, CATNIP (Contemporary American Theater Now In

Prague), and this past summer played Blanche in their sold-out and critically

acclaimed production of Tennessee Williams’, “A Streetcar Named Desire”. For
